It’s common for many teams to bring subs to the interview and only let them speak if asked a question. That approach devalues the sub and misses important opportunities for the team.
1. Have each team member do a short self-introduction. Each sub should include connections to team members and projects completed together.
2. Subs are often seen as an objective third party. They can give kudos back to the team or the team lead as they highlight success on a recent project. Subs can reinforce why the various firms came together.
3. Cameos are a great vehicle for subs. Once the main speaker makes their point, sub consultants can add color with a benefit, an example or differentiator. Back and forth comments between all team members shows
good integration of roles.
One more thing: Don’t be an acronym baby. Spell it out, say it out and make it easy to follow!!
